Hello, Dear Readers!

I have so much to share with you today! I feel like the rest of the year is just going to fly by, and I'm just grasping to the edges trying to hang on as best I can. For those of you who joined us at the Summer Bash in the Wolf Reader Group, thanks for coming! It was so much fun to hang out with you guys and read you a few pages from Daring the Duke. I had a great time!

I'm currently finishing up Daring Done Right, book 6 in the Debutante Dares series. It has been A LOT of research, much more than for book 5, Only Rakes Would Dare. I've tackled Regency era roller coasters, women in medicine, art galleries, and the perfect kind of conveyance to race a daring lady to Bristol and back. This final book definitely goes all in on the daring, but all in on the fear, too, and I think it's important for those two things to go hand in hand.

I just put up a blog post full of links to the research I've been conducting on medicine during the Regency. It's not all I've used, but I've included the links I found most useful, including one that touches on women's involvement as vessels of generations of knowledge on healing while at the same time being bared from formal education. There's also links to 200 + year old anatomy books physicians would have looked at to learn the human body, that my heroine could have used, too!

Here's something else exciting. Have you ordered Naughty or Nice, the Wolf anthology with 7 brand new Christmas themed novellas in it? If so, you can grab a copy of this free printable notebook! It's our gift to those of you who have snagged your copy of this anthology already. There's deleted scenes, sketches of heroes, an exchange of letters between a side character and the author (you know that's mine, and you know I'm gonna do something crazy like that 🤣), and even coloring pages if that's your jam!

You can pre-order the anthology here.

And you can grab your notebook here.

So, my Cavendish crew is always up to something, and as soon as I'm finished writing Daring Done Right, I'll dive into Gwendolyn and Jackson's story which I've discovered is... an office romance? Ha! Anyway, Gwenny's got secrets, and I'm excited to spill them all. *rubbing hands gleefully*

Freddy gets her own book, too, though. As an honorary Cavendish by this time, she'll take us on another trip to the circus, this time to seduce a certain master equestrian trick rider. Her book, Scandalizing the Scoundrel, is actually a part of another series as well that includes multiple of your favorite authors--the Wicked Widows League. The first story (a short story) in the series is by Dawn Brower and is free (WHAT?!) and available now here. But Tracy Sumner, Rachel Ann Smith, Courtney McCaskill, and Cara Maxwell among SO MANY OTHERS will have books in this series all about, well, wicked widows, or in Freddy's case, shy widows trying out wicked for the first time.

I love a good boxset. I always find books I would not have bought otherwise, but that I love. Perfect for binging! Try some of these!

I have been binging Juliette Cross's urban fantasy series for the past week and a half. Werewolves, witches, and vampires--oh my! But I just downloaded The Earl on the Train by Catherine Stein (it was free yesterday and it looks to still be free today, so check it out!). I LOVE her steampunk historical, so that's next up in my TBR.

I hope your TBR has something that's making you itch to open it up!

Happy reading!
