Hello, lovely readers!

After The Fake February Rake was published, I got lots of questions about Lucy. Namely, would she get her own book. The answer was yes, and the time is now!

The heroine of my October release, Curves and Counterfeit, is Lucy Jones, the estimable Dr. Jones' sister. We catch up with her six years after the events of Fake Rake. She's been working for Hawthorne House, escorting women from London to the safety of Hawthorne. She has big plans, too, to expand the good work Hawthorne does. But it's a dangerous plan, and it needs the utmost secrecy.

Unfortunately, she's immediately discovered by a foxed rake who just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or, if you ask him, the right place at the right time.

Lucy's love story expands the story of Hawthorn House and its mission with new characters like Keats the quippy rake and his sister Lady Alexandra. But I also loved writing in little details you'll recognize and remember from Fake Rake! Peggy the former actress, Hades and Ophelia, and of course, Hades' infamous greatcoat.
