Hello, dear readers!
I hope everyone had a lovely spooky evening last night. I certainly did, escorting Steve from Minecraft and Leonardo the Ninja Turtle on the rounds to gather sweets. After the kiddos were put to bed, I settled in to do some writing.
I love this couple I'm writing at the moment. So much banter. And so perfect for one another. And I've got them to that spot where they're learning they work really well together, and they are just feeding off one another, bantering for good instead of evil. 🤣 And it will be March until you meet these guys, January until you get book 1 in their series (it's new!), and I'm just all sorts of wiggly over here trying not to talk about it too much because while the series was announced when it was bought by Wolf, it's not quite time to reveal covers and blurbs and to just GUSH about everything I'm so excited about concerning it. Which is... everything. But here's a look at my Pinterest mood board for this particular banter-ific book!
This new series has some heavy fairy tale influences, but not much of Disney to be seen. Even though, frankly, the Disney version of "Sleeping Beauty" is much more palatable than the folktale. Much violence and heartache there. 😬
But not here! This book is all about the kiss, the awakening, and how one can be awakened in a variety of different ways. Or how they can be cursed into sleep as well. Anyway, I adore it, and these two bantering lovebirds.
