Hello Dear Readers!

I've been traveling over the last week, visiting family, swimming, enjoying good food, and generally slowing down. Which is good, since I tend to operate at full speed pretty much constantly. I'm very goal driven, and when I accomplish one goal, I create five others to start on. 😬

But it's always good for me to force myself to slow down, to stop the brain a bit, to enjoy life. Because that puts fuel in my creativity tank. I've had all sorts of ideas for another series I'm working on right now for Wolf, and I can't wait to get home start playing around with them. Some of them include:

  • A reverse Cinderella situation.
  • A man in a four-year kiss drought because he kissed THE ONE and it was perfect, and now he's angry about it. 🤣
  • Reverse Bluebeard retelling, but romcom, not dark.

Yes, this series is fairytale heavy, and I had no idea that would be the case until recently, but I'm loving it.

This series will start publishing before my Art of Love series is finished, so that will be fun, and I hope to have covers for the Wolf series to share with you soon!

In the meantime, I just put book 2 of the Art of Love series--Forgery, Love, and Other Lies--up for pre-order. You can snag your copy now to be delivered on August 18 or you can borrow it from Kindle Unlimited on August 18.

Forgery, Love, and Other Lies is Lord Lysander Bromley's story. If you read book 1, you know he created some complications for his family near the end of the book. He's ready to redeem himself, though, and that starts with finding out what happened to the missing paintings. Here's the blurb!

***

A gentleman crook with a heart of gold.

Some would call Lord Lysander Bromley a crook, but he would call himself resourceful. For the past several years Zander has replaced his father’s priceless paintings with forgeries, helping dig his family out of debt by loaning the originals to a rabid art collector. But when the collector disappears, along with the paintings, he needs answers. And the artist who forged the paintings might have them, but the dragon of a woman with green eyes who makes him smile is not what he expected.

A lady forger with glittering dreams.

Miss Fiona Frampton is a jeweler’s daughter by day and talented art forger by night. When she’s accused of stealing the paintings she forged years ago, she sees only one way to clear her name—help Lord Zander find the missing art. A simple enough task if Fiona didn’t find herself distracted by thoughts of kissing the charming rogue who only wants his paintings back.

A hopeless hunt that leads to love.

Through crowded ballrooms, abandoned art galleries, midnight auctions, and moonlit alleyways, Zander and Fiona search for what’s missing and find much more—the true desires of their hearts.
