Set your goals and be thankful!

What's up Guys?
Hope you had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
Today's big point is all about thankfulness. Not just on Thanksgiving but on every single day.
I am always thankful to everybody who supports us here at CFDA and for anyone else looking to improve their health and fitness. It has been a particularly rough year, but if we have our health and can continue moving forward then that is all that matters! So thank you for reading this and thank you for being a part of this journey of fitness with me!
I would also like to discuss goals with you.
No matter what you do, it's important to know what you want to achieve and having a goal in mind is the simplest way to make it happen.
Think about:
What your overall goal is. Make it achievable.
What does achievable mean?
Well, achievable to me means something you can measure. Setting your goal to lose 5lbs in 2 weeks is an achievable and measurable goal. Setting your goal to look better in 2 weeks is not necessarily measurable. It's completely arbitrary to your feelings that day.
So when you set a goal, make sure you set it something measurable and achievable.
Develop a plan to achieve this goal.
Having a goal is great, but without a plan in place it sure to fail. If you want to do something set up a reasonable way to get there. Think of it like a map. If you try to get somewhere you haven't been before and you don't have a map, getting lost and discouraged is inevitable. So always have a plan or at least a rough idea.
Make it Routine and develop habits.
The best way to smash goals is to develop habits and make them a part of your everyday life. Meal prepping, morning workouts, drinking more water than alocohol. These are the steps needed to make your goals real. It's easy to say and easy to read, but now you have to execute.
I promise that simple practice will help you. Try it out and keep moving!
