As we come to the end of the calendar year, it is an important time of reflection for all of us. What has happened in the past year, and how do we live in light of that? What are we hoping for the year ahead?

One important dimension of this discernment is how we use the resources God has granted us. I know you have many important needs and ministries that you are supporting, but I invite you to consider partnering with CETI through your giving this year.

Why support CETI?

The unique impact of CETI is bringing holistic theological formation to the lay members of the Latin American Church. Without CETI, the majority of church members have little access to the tools needed to interpret the Bible for themselves. This is especially concerning given the tendencies toward "prosperity preaching" and the hyper-spiritualization of our faith, which blind people to the deep needs of their communities. We believe this is a big reason why, despite being overwhelmingly Christian, Latin American societies are markedly corrupt, violent, and unequal.

But those who study with CETI discern the implications of their faith for every area of their lives. They are given tools to assess the needs and God's heart for their communities and to respond given their abilities and resources. The result of CETI formation is everyday followers of Jesus mobilized and making a difference in their communities and living out Christ's values in their workplaces and homes.

What can your donation do?

Our team is working on various strategies to reach new people who have not yet been able to access CETI studies. One major effort in 2026 is the launch of a new Diploma geared specifically toward young leaders that work with teens and young adults. Your donation will help us equip these leaders and work with them to identify ways to bring CETI studies to the people they work with.

Recommended donation: $25/month or $300 annual donation = Training for one young leader!
