THE MONDAY LEADOFF
Hi my friend ⚡
The Monday Leadoff is back after a short hiatus. I spent the last 12 hours at a leadership mastermind in sunny Las Vegas. Here are the top 5 takeaways from today's seminar:
- Data should drive decisions. What data am I collecting and using to make my team better? What are my blind spots? Are we actually using the data that we're collecting?
- What is the number one most negatively impactful problem for my team/organization right now? How do I fix this as soon as possible?
- What can I do/create for the team to get the highest return on effort?
- What are my team's 3 core values? Does everyone in the organization know what they are? If not, what can I do right now to ensure everyone knows the main things?
- A leader should think like a CEO. A CEO should think like an investor. What am I investing in the most to better my team?
Other ideas about data:
- If you don't track your data, you don't care.
- Team data has to be in one place.
- Start meetings with data because it will show us what we need to focus on.

Courage is knowing it might hurt, and doing it anyway. Stupidity is the same. That's why life is hard.

The difference between great success and bitter failure is often found in consistently applying the fundamentals.
