Hi ,

Do you remember studying poetry in high school? :P I don't remember much about it except that it confused and frustrated me. Let's just say it wasn't one of my favorite subjects.

Thankfully, I've learned to really enjoy poetry now. There are so many different styles. Whether your thing is traditional iambic pentameter, a clever palindrome, or a silly limerick, there really is something for everyone.

Today, I think Jen will be leading us through some poetic adventures. Of course, she may be dealing with a hurricane, so we'll see how things go. Either way, warm up your fingers and get ready to do some writing.
