[Whatchamacallit] My day has gone to the dogs. š¶

Hi, ,
"Money can buy you a very fine dog, but it can never buy you the wag of its tail." ~ Unknown
A little over a year ago, a 63 pound rambunctious Rottweiler mix puppy found her way to my daughter's doorstep. She was skinny and hungry but so full of life. She and my daughter adopted each other, and she's been part of our family since then.
A few months ago, this healthy, vibrant young dog started walking funny on occasion--curling her front paws under and walking on her knuckles. The vets just shook their head and didn't seem to think it was a real problem. Today, this has progressed to a dog that drags her feet all the time, falls for no reason, and sometimes needs assistance to get up from the ground. Watching her deteriorate like this is heartbreaking for me on multiple levels.
So, all that to say that Jodi has graciously offered to lead the whatchamacallit call today while I accompany my daughter to the vet's office again to see if we can get any further insight. We are also trying to get an appointment with a canine neurologist for a consult as soon as possible.
Thank you SO MUCH, Jodi for everything you have done for me and for the Wednesday Writers Whatchamacallit. šš¤
The Wednesday Writers Whatchamacallit will meet today starting at 12 PM Eastern, 11 AM Central, 10 AM Mountain and 9 AM Pacific. Hope to see you there.
