Here in the US this week, we celebrate Independence Day on July 4. It’s the quintessential summer celebration time, complete with cooking on the grill, splashing around in the lake or pool, indulging in homemade ice cream, and of course, blowing things up. 🧨🧨🧨

For me, this time of year represents one of my highest values: freedom. Nelson Mandela said,

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”

Did you realize that as a coach, you enhance the freedom of your clients? Here are some examples of what you might be offering them. 

•Freedom from always seeing their problems in terms of what is not possible. 

•Freedom to embrace what they really want instead of being stuck in autopilot

•Freedom to honestly accept and appreciate themselves and others

This week, instead of stressing out about whether you’re asking the “right” questions or if you’re getting all the elements in for your ACC/PCC/MCC recordings, I invite you to remember who you really are. You are the torchbearer for your clients. Shine your light of freedom, and clearly show your clients the path to the hope that lies ahead..
