Are there ever times when you notice something in a coaching call, but you don’t share it with your client? Sometimes, we wonder if a client might be offended or hurt or if they might even get upset with us for sharing what we see. Sometimes we wind up holding back or dancing around the topic while hoping the client will figure it out on their own.

The truth is, this is why our clients come to us. They often need us to shine a light into the dark corners so they can see clearly. Yet, when we attempt to protect our client’s feelings or protect our own standing with them, we can actually wind up disempowering them.
