I wanted to take a moment to share a full update here for everyone

waiting on the Song of Death and Goddess of Death special editions.

Whether you preordered through TikTok Shop, my website, or supported

the Kickstarter, this post has all the current info in one place.

Rewrites Complete!

After eight months of incredibly challenging work, the rewrites are

officially DONE! Both books are now told in first-person POV and have

been expanded by over 20,000 words each. Every sentence has been

revised or rewritten for stronger emotion, pacing, and depth. These

are the most complete and powerful versions of the stories—and I’m so

proud of how far they’ve come.

As many of you know, I’ve been dealing with neurological Lyme disease,

which affects both my body and my brain. It’s made this process longer

than I planned, as I’m often bedridden and struggling with cognitive

symptoms like word loss and brain fog. Despite all that, I kept

going—and I’m grateful for your patience as I worked through it.

Full-Color Upgrade

One of the biggest (and most exciting!) changes is that I’ve upgraded

the interior formatting to be full color throughout. That means teal

paper, yes, but also full-color art and graphics on every page,

instead of grayscale. Over the past several days, I’ve been purchasing

additional mermaid artwork and redesigning layouts to match. These

editions will be truly stunning—unique collector-quality books that

reflect the care going into every detail.

The full-color print run for the hardcovers will cost just under

$21,000, so I’m doing everything I can to make sure they’re worth

every penny and every moment of the wait.

Timeline

Formatting is currently in progress. Once that’s finalized, we’ll move

into the production and fulfillment stage. I’m still aiming for late

summer to early fall shipping. I’ll share more specific timing once

formatting is locked in and I receive printer confirmation.

Release Date Update – Spirit of the Dying Flower

My Gothic romance novel, Spirit of the Dying Flower, will now be

releasing on July 24. With everything going on—health challenges, the

house move, and formatting the special editions—I needed a little more

time to give this story the attention it deserves. Thank you so much

for your support and patience. I can’t wait for you to experience this

haunting, romantic journey soon.

Health Update

I’ll be seeing a Lyme specialist on July 1, and I’m hopeful this will

lead to a more effective treatment plan. Right now, I’m still mostly

confined to bed and doing what I can in short bursts of energy.

Life Update

We just moved into our new home near Biloxi, Mississippi a little over

a week ago! It was a long five-hour move, made even more difficult by

a family emergency that forced me to leave before our closing. My mom

was hospitalized with severe sepsis and is still in the hospital, but

she’s now stable. We’re hopeful she’ll be moved to a care facility

soon to continue recovering.
