Hello!
I hope you all are finding good things to read! I'll be involved in a couple new events this year, including one in Kenosha, WI and one in Elgin, IL. If those are close to you, come out to see me! More deets on those as they get closer.
Thank you to those who came to see me at Goodwill Industries in March! It was a fun event. I loved giving out those 15 free books.
Next event this year is the Rockton May Day Faerie Festival
This CUTE event is in Rockton IL, on Saturday May 3, 2025 from 10-4.
There are lots of vendors, music, food and MINI UNICORNS. Totally kid friendly event!
What I'm Working On
I'm still working on The Train West (working title). I have over 50,000 words and I'm at the pivotal point in the novel. Lucy found the man she was hired to find, but now what? Do I wrap up the book pretty as a picture in the next 10K to 20K words or do I explore all the other ideas I had for the book and make it longer?????
I DON'T KNOW! I'M TORN!
Other Writers You Might Like
If you're looking for new authors, let me introduce you to a couple friends of mine. They don't know I'm doing this, so if you decide to follow them, or read their books (you totally should!) Let them know I recommend them. :)
First up, AE McKenna writes what she calls, popcorn fiction. What I consider easy reads with good excitement levels and lots of love, but low on the steam side.
Next up, JP Rindfleisch IX, who writes cozy, queer, and dark fiction. Though most of their books are co-written, they have solo projects, Mandrake Manor, and Mosswood Apothecary (my favorite of their books!). They're doing a Kickstarter on Mosswood Apothecary soon. I'm totally going to back it.
Check them both out and see you in May!
Love you all and stay safe, ok?
