Oh, it's busy in the spring :)
Hello, readers! How is your spring going? Mine is as chaotic as usual with spring sports, ministry, end-of-the-year everything and birthdays galore. And this year, a book release! But it's a good busy. The Lord is way too good to me. I'm working on drafting a story, that's being a bit tricky, so in my future newsletters I may ask for some ideas and feedback. You are always so great with that. Plus, I can already seem a number of people and places that will need names haha.
In this newsletter, I've got a few updates, some books for you to check out and the giveaway winner for Courtney Walsh's "Can't Help Falling." As always, thanks for being a subscriber!!
Emma's Hero, paperback, discounted!
Amazon still has Emma's Hero paperback discounted for only $11! If you haven't purchased a copy yet (or wanted to get one for a friend) this is the time to snatch up a copy of this award-winning book!
“God won’t give me more than I can handle? I’m pretty sure He just did.”
After a year of loss and bad choices distance Emma Reynolds from her lifelong beliefs, she finds herself pregnant and alone at a twenty-week ultrasound, hearing the words “incompatible with life.” When her son, Theo, survives birth, she fights to give him the best care possible. As each day passes, Emma’s love for Theo grows—along with her fear of losing him. She can’t understand why God allows her son to suffer.
Seventeen-year-old blogger, Mason Hughes, feels lonely and worthless after his father left their family years ago. When he ignores his mother’s push to “contribute to society,” she volunteers him to help Emma each week. Wishing he’d applied for any other job, Mason has no choice but to grocery shop and practice his rusty social skills with a mother and son he doesn’t know.
Paramedic Ben Sullivan has earned himself the title of “most eligible” bachelor among his friends as they continually set him up on blind dates. While he’d love to avoid the uncomfortable events, his heart can’t help but seek the one thing missing in his life—a marriage like his parents have. If only he could find the woman himself.
As Theo’s tiny life connects them to each other, their loneliness breaks under the love of community, and they will never be the same.
Someone to Lean On releases May 5!
Someone to Lean On releases May 5 (if you order the paperback, you will likely get it earlier :) ). So many authors who's writing I adore have endorsed this book: Tabitha Bouldin, Kate Breslin, Sara Brunsvold and Katie Powner. It's the final book in the Faith Endures series, and it has such a special place in my heart. Why pre-order? There are a few reasons pre-ordering a book is amazing.
- You get your copy right away! As soon as it's released.
- The e-book is currently priced at a discounted rate, that won't last long.
- It really helps the author with visibility at relase.
They’re seeking a peace they can’t seem to find. . .
Aged out of the foster care system and struggling to raise her young daughter, Lucia Roberts loses her only source of income. When she’s offered a position caring for a four-year-old foster child, Timothy, it feels like the answer to a prayer—except for one catch. She must work in the home of Jordan Nowak, Timothy’s overly vigilant foster father who scrutinizes her every move.
Jordan has built his life around one promise: protect a foster child until they can find a happily ever after. But while Jordan fights to keep Timmy safe, his own world spirals out of control. The music store he co-owns with his brother is on the brink of bankruptcy after months of mismanagement. Torn between protecting Timmy, saving the store, and guarding his heart, Jordan grasps for any possibility to fix it all.
Mason Hughes is in his final year of medical school, on rotation under a difficult neurologist, and doubting his call to be a doctor. As the walls between Lucia and Jordan soften, Timmy starts displaying puzzling symptoms. Soon Mason must choose whether he trusts his medical instincts enough to fight an ethical battle.
As three adults seek control in their lives, a young child with no guarantees teaches them to trust.

A Reluctant Cowboy Small Town Romance
Dalton Stone isn’t looking to be a hero. He’s spent the past five years paying a quiet penance, counting down the days until he can disappear for good. But when family obligations pull him back to the ranch - and into the orbit of Madison, a smart, guarded woman with a dream and a young brother Ryan depending on her - he’s forced to reckon with everything he thought he’d left behind.
Madison has no time for bad boys with secrets, especially not ones who make her pulse race and her defenses falter. Her focus is on building an equine therapy program and giving Ryan the stability he’s never had. But Dalton’s gruff kindness and quiet vulnerability keep drawing her in.
As their connection deepens, so does the danger. Torn between protecting the woman he’s falling for and believing he’s too broken to stay, Dalton faces his most important choice yet: stay and fight for love - or vanish before the past can catch up with him.
