Hey guys! OMG, it's been a week since Baruk the Cursed went live, and the feedback I'm getting is blowing me away! Every day! Amazon was slow to update the rank on this one, as well as the ratings. I think the first ratings and reviews showed up after three days, and I freaked out a bit. I thought people were reading it and not rating it because... they were disappointed? But then I took a deep breath, blamed it all on Amazon, and it turned out I was right. I think on the third or fourth day, around 50 ratings popped at once, and it was clear there had been a lag.
All right, so it's time to announce the next ORC in the series! His name is Grimor, and he'll hit your Kindles on December 25th. That's right. On Christmas! I wanted him to be my Christmas present to you. He's up on pre-order, so one-click him now, or you can wait to read him in Kindle Unlimited.
What I can tell you about this book is that it's going to be... cozy. Yes. I think that's the word. I have an idea about how to achieve that. LOL The story is not fleshed out yet, but I have the premise, I know where it starts, and I know where it's heading. I will sleep on it for several nights before I start writing it, though, because I want to make it so when you finish reading Grimor the Joyless, you feel happy and safe.
Oh God! No pressure. Haha! I've just put so much pressure on myself with that paragraph alone. I should stop being so chatty in my newsletters.
