Wow, was I stressed that I wouldn't make the deadline and publish Heart of a Kraken on June 18, as originally intended! Well, guess what? I managed. I had to push the pre-order for a minute (more like a week), just to be sure, and then change it back to the original date when I was sure... But I made it. He's here, ready to take over your Kindles! And your hearts.

I also have some art for you, to celebrate! I asked my boyfriend, and he was happy to play around with the character and place him in an underwater setting.

Okay, so what next after Heart of a Kraken?

In the Monster Hearts series, the plan is... *drum roll*... Heart of a Minotaur! Yes, a minotaur. The plot is already written because I had some cool ideas (at least I hope they're cool, lol), and I should start writing it as soon as I get another deadline out of the way, a deadline that I know for sure I will not make.

But hey, look on the bright side! I've recovered from my short encounter with Covid completely! I was sick for about a week, then my smell and taste were altered for another week, and now I'm back to normal. It's like it never happened. And I'm back to doing yoga twice a week, too, and it's going fine. I don't feel as tired as before.

So, I'll try not to stress too much over the fact that I'll miss a deadline once in a while. Alien's Temptation is still coming, even if it might come in July instead of June. And anyway, I'm not even sure about that. Because I'll push the pre-order date a month, but when I have the book, that won't matter, because I'll publish it immediately.
