In case you're curious about what I've been doing lately... well, I've taken another stray cat to the vet. :)) Yes, this is my life now. I seduce stray cats with yummy food, then take them to the vet. Poor things, they probably think I'm betraying them.

Meet Peggy!

She's been coming in my backyard for a few months now, and last week I noticed a scratch on her tail. Rushed her to the vet, and the scratch is no big deal, but it turned out she had an infection in her belly after a botched sterilization. She had surgery today, and she's feeling great. Four more days at the vet, and then she's coming back home. I hope to convince her it's better to sleep inside than outside, but who knows? She's used to being outdoors. She's three years old and very vocal when I try to trap her in the house.

To be fair, for a long time we thought she was a boy and named her Piggy. :)) Because she eats a lot. When we found out at the vet that she's a big girl, we changed it to Peggy.

And it feels like this is a good time to let you know that I'm writing the very last book in the Arranged Monster Mates series for charity. The royalties will be donated to the cat shelter in my city.

Yep, I'm a crazy cat lady. Gotta own it.

I can't survive another mating season without a mate. For a Lynx as old as I am, I should've been mated years ago, but I haven't had the luck to find my one and only in my community.
