Hey, my Wylde-lings!

Aaaaand I've just checked and realized I haven't given you a single sign that I'm still here since... February. The number of newsletters I sent in March = zero. Yep. A big fat 0. Ugh.

What's my excuse? Well, I've been working, but that's nothing new. What's new is that I got a new hobby... rescuing cats! I don't own a cat, or maybe I own too many, since I'm feeding the cats that come to my backyard. I started putting food out for them a year ago, and since then, I've met quite a few cats.

And then, at the end of February, I met a very special cat. Poor thing was limping and was very scared - could not approach her. Seeing how she might've had a broken leg, I decided to catch her. There was no other way. She only came late at night, and I could only see her on the cat camera (which we installed so my boyfriend and I could see the cats that visit us). Caught her, took her to the vet, and it turns out she's the sweetest kitty that has ever lived!

I named her Miu Miu. Like the fashion brand. This was only the beginning of our adventures.

Miu Miu, unfortunately, was pretty ill, and she had to spend two weeks at the vet clinic. Meanwhile, I started looking for adoption for her, and that introduced me to the world of cat shelters and the reality of how pets are treated in my country. Romania is... not known for caring a lot about strays, let me tell you. So, imagine my surprise when I discovered this cat shelter in my city, Oradea (well, it's not my city, but it's where I live for now), that is doing the most amazing job! They bought a house especially for the kitties, and they built a catio for them! All this was possible through donations and everyone there is a volunteer. They have a lot of cats who are too sick or too old, or too feral to ever be adopted by anyone.

Anyway, I visited the cat shelter and I was in love. I am grateful that Miu Miu introduced me to this world. She's with a foster for now, until she can get her vaccines, and then I hope I can find a permanent home for her. The volunteers at the cat shelter said they would help me. In return, I've started making monthly donations.

And with this, I'm excited to tell you about the last book in the Arranged Monster Mates series, which is mine, and will be released on June 26. Before Layla Fae, Eden Ember, and I retire the series, I decided to write this one last book for charity, and the proceeds will go to the cat shelter in Oradea, Romania. It's a charity that I believe in with all my heart, a place that I went and visited, and the cats there absolutely deserve it.

I can't survive another mating season without a mate. For a Lynx as old as I am, I should've been mated years ago, but I haven't had the luck to find my one and only in my community. Lynxes mate for life. I know she's out there, and if she's not of my species, then she must be human. So, I send my blood to the Temple and pray they will find my perfect match.

The Temple is never wrong, or so they say. When they find my mate and she does everything in her power to escape me, I'm starting to doubt the accuracy of the DNA test. She's beautiful, feisty, and a little bit shallow, used to being treated like a princess. I need her with all my being.

I'm ready to give her the world in exchange for a cuddle.

*This is a charity book. The proceeds will go to a cat shelter in Romania. They need all the help they can get for their cuddly and not-so-cuddly kitties. The shelter is called Friends of Cats (Prietenii Pisicilor in Romanian).

Okay, so that's the news! This is what I've been up to. I'm telling you, the STRESS I felt with Miu Miu at the vet... I don't know how pet owners do it! I had sleepless nights thinking about her!

Oh, I almost forgot. This is the cat shelter. Check it out if you have a minute. They have the sweetest cats. Unfortunately, in Romania, most people only want to adopt kittens, and if possible, in perfect condition. Poor Miu Miu is still limping a bit.
