Free books from me! Hello ORCtober!
Oct 03, 2021 12:19 am
It's Orctober, you guys! Apparently, if you want to see some super hot orcs, you just go on Twitter and search for #orctober. BEWARE! Most of what you'll find is super NSFW!
Haha!
This will be a short one, really. My brain is fried from writing over 5k words today. Tomorrow will be intense, too, but the good news is that Baruk the Cursed is *so* close that I can almost taste him. Yummy! (OMG that sounded dirty! I just realized when I sent a test email to myself and re-read what I wrote! Should I change it? Hm... Okay... No. LOL) Don't forget the book launch is on October 10th. If you haven't already, pre-order him now. If you read in Kindle Unlimited, he'll be available there too!

Meanwhile, my cover artist is working on the fifth orc in my series! We almost have the cover, I have the title, and I'll be working on a blurb on Monday. I have the story, too, and it's very heartwarming and Christmassy. I can't wait to share it with you!
To celebrate the beginning of a month that we ALL love (I'm sure), I'm offering two of my books for FREE. Captured and The Hidden Alpha will be totally FREE on Amazon for three days. So, October 2-4. Go get them if you haven't read them yet! They are both standalone stories, with a HEA, and they can be read and enjoyed as they are. Maybe you'll want to check out the rest of the series, maybe not. Either way, these two are pretty good, I promise.
AND one more thing! Make sure you scroll to the end of the email, because I have an ORC recommendation for you. Layla Fae is new in the genre, and her first orc book is delicious. Perfect if you're not sure what to read this weekend!
See you on 10.10, when I'll have Baruk the Cursed to offer you!
Love,
Cara

Orcs killed my family. They order us around and take from us what they want. And I am determined to end their rule. So when the ferocious silver-eyed orc says he’ll carry me away from my backwater village right to the orc capital, I take this chance. Being among orcs and having access to their Imperator, I can save humankind.
There is only one complication. This orc wants me to become his mate. He promises, or rather threatens, to court me over the journey. And orc courtship isn’t about flowers and holding hands. It’s about showing me his desire. I must pretend to be attracted to him so he doesn’t discover my secret.
The problem is… I don’t really have to pretend. I'm falling in love with my deadliest enemy.
