Hey, my Wylde-lings!

I don't usually send two newsletters a week, but this is a special occasion, because I wanted to let you know that Layla Fae has a new book out! The kinks are insane, there's spice aplenty, and you might just realize you need this book in your life. Go check it out. It's over 600 pages of goodness.

“Marry me and I’ll let your father live.”

Princess Caliane is convinced she'll die. Her castle’s gates are torn open, her father, the king, bound and gagged on his throne, and in his throne room stands the Tyrant. His skin is gray, his teeth sharp, his hands tipped with black claws. When he smiles like a predator scenting prey, her stomach roils with terror.

The monster forces her to choose: her father’s life for her hand in marriage.

Nothing in the soft, demure life of a royal princess has prepared Caliane for being a wife to a beast. His manners are abrupt, his language crude, and his silver eyes shine with wit. During the brutal journey to his kingdom where humans are reviled, she is passed from warrior to warrior like chattel.

The Tyrant has three knights—and they share everything.

As she moves farther away from home, she must untangle the mess of her painful upbringing, decide whom to trust and what to fight for. The princess might not have the strength to wield a sword, but her mind is sharp, and her monstrous husband and knights, terrifying though they seem, might turn out to be exactly what she needs.

In terms of my book projects... well, I have a new one that is actually not new at all, and I've been planning since last year. I've even started writing it, it's almost done, but I had to put it aside to focus on moving to Norway.

So, now that I've decided to push Thing of Ruin to next year, I have time and space to finish this book and publish it in December.

I'm talking about a new book in the Monster Security Agency! It's called Guarded by the Symbiote, and I've set up the pre-order to motivate myself to finish it. Officially, I'm writing two books now, which I don't do often, but because Thing of Ruin is so slow and taxing thanks to all the research, Guarded by the Symbiote is a palate cleanser in the evening.

The second she lets me in, I’m a ruined man.

I’ve been merging with hosts my entire life. Slipping under their skin, living in their minds, protecting them – it’s what I do. I’m a professional, and I keep my distance.

Then I’m hired to be her bodyguard.

An undercover cop infiltrating the deadliest criminal organization in the country, and I’m her hidden weapon. Merged with her body, experiencing her every thought, her every desire. I’m supposed to protect her and stay detached.

But her thoughts unravel me. The fantasies she’s been hiding drive me insane. She wants to surrender, to be claimed by someone strong enough to handle her intensity. And I’m a monster too dangerous for anyone to want.

I become addicted and terrified, knowing that when I must separate from her, I'll leave my sanity behind.

Two Monster Security Agency books are actually coming in December! Cassie Alexander brings you a love story that is completely out of the box. Guarded by the AI might just make you think differently about artificial intelligence and emotions. I'm curious myself to read her book.

She knows what everyone else is thinking—except for him.

Serena’s telepathy has always been her greatest weapon and her deepest curse. In a world where everyone’s thoughts are laid bare to her, she’s spent her life isolated, unable to escape the noise—until Nex. As the MSA’s cutting-edge AI, Nex has no thoughts for her to read. Cold, calculating, and endlessly efficient, he’s a mystery she can’t solve—and the partner she never wanted.

When a deadly conspiracy threatens to tear the MSA apart, Serena and Nex are thrust into a race against time. For Nex, protecting Serena becomes his highest directive, even as his programming begins to shift in ways he can’t explain. For Serena, the silence that surrounds Nex feels like the one thing she’s always needed—and the one thing she can’t resist.

As the lines between human and machine blur, Serena and Nex will have to risk everything to save each other—and discover that love isn’t something you read, but something you feel.
