My future as a romance writer in Norway

My Wylde-lings... long time! But I have great news!

My husband and I are moving to Norway!

In February, we went to Oslo for the first time, spent almost two weeks there, and with the help of a relocation agency, we did some house hunting and found a beautiful house 30-40 minutes from Oslo by train. Now we're back to Romania because we have a lot of preparing and packing to do. Hubby needs to sell his car (we're getting an electric car in Norway, since they're huge on those), and I need to sort and organize our stuff, and decide what we're taking to Norway. Which is a lot. We're working with a moving company, but still... There's a lot of work we need to do ourselves. Not to mention the bureaucracy.

It's exciting, and overwhelming, and I have moments when I'm asking myself, "what the hell am I doing?". It's too much, but it's necessary. We don't yet know if Norway is our forever country, but we'll have three years to decide. Somewhere in this beautiful Europe, we will find our home.

Norway is gorgeous, the air is so clean, and no matter where you live, nature is a few minutes away.

You can imagine that I had no time to write these past few weeks. The last book I published was in December (Guarded by the Yeti - have you read it?), and I won't be able to write for a while longer. I imagine sometime in May I might be settled in and relaxed enough to start working on a new project. There will be more books coming from me this year, it's just that it'll have to happen in the second half of the year.

This move is challenging, so wish me luck!

But my author friends are hard at work. Have you seen Layla Fae's latest release? It's the second book in her Jaga and the Devil trilogy. Make sure you check it out.

Read Devil's Doom - Book 2

The devil won’t let me run. I feel his hot breath on my nape wherever I go.

I’m trapped in a world of magic and monsters, ruled by laws I don’t understand, inhabited by creatures older and far more vicious than me. Here, I am a mere mortal. I am food or entertainment or both.

If I want to get anywhere, I must tame my newfound power and find allies, but in the war-ravaged Slawa, no one trusts anyone. I must prove myself, risking my life and evading the devil, even though he seems unavoidable. He does everything in his might to force his way back into my graces and heart.

When the biggest powers in Slawa find out who I am, everything changes, and I learn my lesson one more time.

I shouldn’t have trusted the devil. But he should have learned, too. I bite so hard when I’m cornered.

You absolutely need to read Book 1 first!

Oh, and remember the cat shelter in my current city (soon to be ex-city)? I'm still donating the monthly royalties I get from Wed to the Lynx. Yep, that's still going on, even though the book has dropped to making around $400 a month. That's good money that the kitties need! I visited them last week, and here are some cool pictures.
