Should I keep writing monsters?

Hey, my Wylde-lings!

Here I am with news, updates, questions... I've had a few bad days. It happens. But one of the things that's made this period pretty bad is that my newsletter provider keeps failing me. The last newsletter I sent hasn't reached some of you. It only sent to part of my list, and around 700 of you haven't received it to this day. My newsletter provider is Sendfox, and I've been emailing with them for a week now, and they keep promising they will come with an explanation and a fix, but nothing. Nothing.

This is stressful, and annoying, and inconvenient beyond belief. Because if they don't fix their issues, I'll have to look for another newsletter provider, and I just can't tell you how hard it is to make that transition again. I made it once from MailChimp to Sendfox, and it wasn't easy. I really, really don't want to do that again.

Of course, I should tell them this. Which I did. I don't think they care much, honestly.

So, here I am, hoping you will all get this newsletter from me today.

Okay, news! The Arranged Monster Mates series continues with another round in September! Layla, Eden, and I have the pre-orders up already, so I'll give you all the links below, after I give you the links to the books that have just released this month (because some of you didn't get my new release newsletter, that's why, *sigh*).

Aaaaand we're definitely doing a Christmas round! We've started talking about it, we all chose our monsters, and we decided to be brave and release in both November and December. So, yeah. Three Christmas monsters in November, and another three Christmas monsters in December. It's a good thing we started talking about it early, so we have time to write them and make them extra spicy.

We're excited. I'm excited. Are you excited?

Because I love writing monsters, but I need to know... are you still on board the monster train? Or are there other heroes (or anti-heroes) you want to see in paranormal romance?

Hit reply to this email and let me know. Your feedback always helps!

Okay, now let me make sure you know about the three Arranged Monster Mates series we released in June. And then I'll show you what we have prepared for September.

Betrayed.

The female I'd thought was my mate ran off with someone else in the middle of the night. Now I'm the mock of the pride, the lionman who couldn't rein in his lioness. I don't care what they say. I don't want to control my female, I want her to be with me because I'm her world, like she is mine.

For that to happen, we have to be fated mates. So next time, I won't make the choice. I'll let the Temple choose for me. I send them my blood, and they will find me my perfect match. A female who will never betray me.

Months pass and I hear no word from the Temple. Maybe I'm doomed to be alone. I forget about it and move on with my life.

But one night, while I'm on patrol, I hear a scream. A human female is pursued by three men, and I don't hesitate. I save her honor, her life, and then I look at her...

She is beautiful and pure. I need her to be mine.

Every living thing is repelled by my corpse-like body… but not my wife.

Liches are almost gone, only a handful of us left. I must marry to keep my race from extinction, yet how? No living female will ever stoop so low as to marry a lich. People fear us. They say we are the harbingers of death, bad luck, rot and decomposition.

In one last bid to carry out my duty, I request a wife through the Temple. She turns out to be a neglected, sickly thing with trembling hands and downcast eyes, seeking an arranged marriage out of despair.

And she’s perfect. Her blushes burn hot, her voice rings with feeling, and her kisses taste like summer. She is life personified, all warmth, light, and sweetness, and I crave her like darkness craves the sun.

But will she sacrifice her warm, beating heart to a creature of death like me?

Minotaurs come to Alia Terra for the sole purpose of finding a mate, starting a family, and growing their presence. They are settling the Taurus Terra territory and filling it with the new half-human, half-minotaur race.

Vozak isn't so sure about the process, but he shows up anyway and puts in for a wife through the Marriage Temple. Since his brother has a human wife, she has him request her sister. Turns out Agnes is a DNA match to him.

It's a rocky start. Agnes comes along with expectations for romance from the old novels she's read and Vozak only knows the minotaur way.

In the process, an enemy comes along and destroys their newfound happiness. Will he be able to save her in time? The fight is on and it's life or death for the new couple.
