The free story that was promised!

Finally. Finally! I've been telling you about this novella that I want to offer for free to my newsletter subscribers for a while. I got the cover last week, and it is gorgeous! If you're in my readers' group on Facebook (Good Girls Gone Wylde - why not join?), then you've already seen it. I'm crazy about it. The concept is mine, and my designer was awesome, as always, and did great with the materials and sketches I gave her.
So, without further ado, I give you... *drum roll*...
Chicken Soup Gone to Hell
I’ve always known I’m a terrible cook. But summoning a demon while attempting to make a simple chicken soup? That’s just next level.
Asmodeus, King of Hell, ruler over too many demon armies to try counting them, is in the middle of my destroyed kitchen, awaiting an explanation. He says I’m a powerful witch, but that’s just ridiculous. He says he’s bound to me, and he’ll fulfill any wish I have.
What do I say? Despite his horns, hooves, and tail, he’s stupidly handsome. And I need to find a way to banish him before he gets under my skin.

I got my inspiration from this writing prompt that pops up everywhere on Facebook, and I had a blast writing it.
You know, I always see these cool ideas and think, "I'd read that!". But no one ever writes them, so here you go, I made a story based on one of them. This is why I'm offering it for free, though the story is fully mine.
If you do feel like helping me with a review, though, I have a big ask. I know many of you have read my Grim Reaper Academy series. The individual books have a ton of reviews on Amazon, but the poor box set barely has 29 ratings in the US store. I was thinking of running some ads on it this month, but with so few ratings, the Amazon page looks kind of... grim. Reviews count so much when a potential reader comes across the book. I mean... when I shop for books, even I look at the reviews! LOL
So, if you've read Grim Reaper Academy and have a moment to spare, please rate it on Amazon and leave a few honest words about it. It would mean the world to me.

I won't be sending a newsletter next Saturday, so you won't be hearing from me for a while. I just thought I should put some distance, so you get a chance to miss me. Haha! I'm kidding. I'm actually going on another vacation that won't be a vacation. Cause that's how I roll. My partner and I are going to a detox center, and I feel like it's going to be hardcore. Apparently, we're supposed to survive on juices for seven days. I'm not sure that's possible, but... I'm open. I've detoxed in the past, but not quite like this. Fingers crossed I survive. LOL
