Hello, hello! I have great news! Happy new book release day to me, because Hell's Bells and a Bucket of Wings is LIVE on Amazon, and available to read in Kindle Unlimited. Woohoo!

I know you've been waiting for it, and I'm sorry I had to push the release date a little, but it's here, and I'm pretty proud of it.

I walked over there and grabbed the book. She jumped a few feet away, her big eyes gazing up at me, the fear from before back in full force. The cat spat in my direction.

“If you didn’t summon me, then what are you doing with this Book of Shadows?” I flipped through it until I reached the first page. Henrietta Gold. Hm. The name sounded familiar.

“That’s a cookbook. Barely a cookbook, really. A collection of recipes. And I was making chicken wings.”

“No, you weren’t. You were summoning me.”

The cat spat at me again.

She sighed. “You know what? Milo doesn’t like you.”

“I couldn’t care less about being liked. By a cat, or by an incompetent witch. Haven’t you heard who I am? I am Samael, Fallen Angel, King of Hell, the Des–”

“Yes, yes. I heard all of it. When I address you, do you want me to use all your names? Because in that case, let me just take Milo out, and I’ll grab a pen and paper.”

Once again, I stood there, shocked. The little witch was treating me like I was a joke! Me, Samael, King of Hell, the Destroyer, the... I snapped out of it. I couldn’t let this train of thought run its course, or my rage would burst out of me in flames that would engulf the kitchen and then the entire house. I couldn’t. Being bound to her meant I had to not only do as she said, but also see that she didn’t come to any harm. And if she loved that cat, then the cat couldn’t come to any harm, either.

But what about me? I was being harmed right now! By the utter ridicule of the situation!

“Listen, witch...”

“My name is Annie.”

I hesitated. “Witch. I have things to do in Hell, so you better ask me for something, or banish me.”

“Banish you? I have no idea how to banish you! Because I didn’t call you here in the first place.”

“Your chicken wings did.”

“Then they should banish you, how about that?”

I'm working on a lot of projects, I'm not gonna lie. This year, I've joined a few anthologies, simply because I've been so isolated and I felt like interacting and working with other authors. Being a writer is lonely. Especially in Romania, where I have NO ONE to talk to about writing, craft, marketing, covers, etc etc. I don't even have anyone to talk to about books. Seriously. Did you know that Romanians don't read? Let me just pull up some statistics... Hm... Google, google, google... Right.

According to THIS only 6.2% of Romanians read. Ouch! And on average, Romanians read only 5 minutes per day. Only France sucks more than us. LOL Who would've thought?

I should move to Finland. People read there. But the language would be a bit of a problem.

In fact, my partner and I have been thinking of moving to Canada. Not this year, but in a year or two... It could be a possibility.

Until then, I'm just going to visit Ireland next week. We're going to a wedding in Dublin, so wish us luck! I am not a fan of weddings, and I wasn't pleased to find out that none of my old dresses fit me anymore, and I had to buy a new one. I've never been to Dublin before, so on the one hand, it's exciting, but on the other hand, like... I already feel exhausted knowing how exhausting the trip will be.

I think I'm going to finish this newsletter and go to sleep. It's almost 4 PM here, and a nap sounds great!

I've joined the authors of Outlaw Planet Mates, and my first book in the series and world will come out on June 25th! It's already on pre-order, so check it out.

And yeah, I'm writing a space orc. Why not? Haha!

Alien's Temptation

All I wanted was to travel the world. My world. Not some alien planet that’s trying to kill me at every step.

One minute, I’m admiring the pyramids, the next, I’m being abducted by aliens. Then something goes horribly wrong, and my pod crashes on the most hostile island. And right on top of another alien’s ship!

Thev is a massive wall of green-skinned muscle, all covered in tribal tattoos. Oh, and he has long, sharp tusks! Basically, he looks like an orc from fantasy movies, but when I tell him that, he disagrees. He says he’s a Zokunian, not an orc. And he also says I’m in his way, and he’s on a mission.

I hate it that I have to beg him to help me. What I don’t hate is the Zokunian custom of going around shirtless.

Thev’rar

My mission is to find my sister, bring her home, make her queen, and then follow my calling to become a priest.

That means I will never take a mate, a fate I’m resigned to because I haven’t found the other half of my soul, and I’m too old and it’s too late.

When tiny, curvy, rosy-cheeked Angie literally crashes on top of me, I’m determined to ignore her and mind my own business. But she’s sweet, enticing, and oh-so-human! The more time I spend with her, the more I start questioning what I thought was my destiny.
