FREE Paranormal Romance This March
Mar 04, 2021 5:11 pm
Hello, lovelies! How is March treating you so far? If you're into astrology, then I'm happy to let you know that there are NO planets in retrograde this month. Mercury went direct at the end of February, so March should be a great time for high energy, motivation, and things going right.
Yeah... Not for me. For about five days, I've been doing damage control, trying to understand why my Facebook ads don't work, stressing over some potentially bad news my accountant gave me, and trying to keep up with a bunch of other stuff that make up this mystifying thing called real life. It's too real, if you ask me...
Anyway, enough complaining! I actually have some awesome announcements to make, and I hope they make your day better.
I've teamed up with seven authors, and we've put together an anthology of paranormal romance novellas that is completely FREE on BookFunnel for the entirety of March. This is a limited anthology, so at the end of the month, it will be gone.
Personally, I have TWO stories in it. They're both novellas of around 20k words - so... short, but not that short, - and one is a prequel to my Alma Venus Shifter Brides series, while the other one is an orc romance. I haven't written orcs before, but I was dying to try it since last year. The conclusion is that I love it! There's just something about writing about big and fierce green-skinned men, full of scars and tattoos, that makes me get out of bed in the morning. LOL
I'll show you where you can get the anthology, and then I'll show you the covers for my two novellas, along with the blurbs. So don't hesitated to scroll down down down to see everything that I've been working on lately.

Tribute to the Alpha
The war between humans and shapeshifters must end. There has been too much bloodshed, and it’s time for the factions to sign a peace treaty. But there is one man, one wolf warrior, who does not want peace. Not even when humans would be forced to provide shifters with brides to bear them heirs. Ruarc Bloodmoon is not interested in a willing human bride. All he wants is power.
Alma is the only daughter of the future representative of the human faction, and she is ready to sacrifice herself to keep her loved ones safe. Ruarc will listen to no one and negotiate with no one, but maybe he will, if she offers herself to him. If she becomes the first shifter bride in history, maybe he will finally see that peace is the only way for humans and shifters to move forward.
Note from the author: This is a prequel to the Alma Venus Shifter-Brides series, which currently has four completed novels and various bonus novellas available on Amazon. The series is complete, and ready for you to devour.

Rogan the Gray (Orc Mates)
When the orcs invaded the human dimension, no one could stop them. War raged for years, and now the monstrous beasts have agreed to peace on two conditions: one, the human scientists must rebuild the machine that brought them into this world; and two, they must be provided with fertile brides to bear them orc babies.
Tara Caraway has been sentenced to death for a crime she didn’t commit. The only way to save her own life is to volunteer to become a tribute and join one of the institutes that prepare human females to become orc mates. Some say that being an orc bride is even worse than being dead, but she’s willing to take this chance. She doesn’t care what happens to her as long as there’s hope that she can escape later, find the one who killed her sister and framed her, and take revenge.
Rogan the Gray doesn’t need a human mate. All he wants is to live in the mountains with his horde and wait for the moment when they can all return home. But who knows if that will ever happen, and in the meantime, there aren’t enough female orcs for the orc warriors. Maybe, if he takes a human bride, his days won’t be so bleak.

Vorgak the Cruel

Candace West needs to escape. For two years, she’s suffered at the hands of her abusive husband, and she can’t take it anymore. When he refuses to give her the divorce and threatens her life, she runs to the only place where she knows she’ll be protected – the nearest institute for orc brides. Once she offers herself as tribute, she is safe, and a hired attorney takes care of the divorce. Now, all she has to do is keep her word, learn about the orcs’ culture, and follow the one who chooses her as his mate.
Vorgak the Cruel has been trying to find the right mate for months. When he first sees Candace, he’s not convinced, but the human female pursues him. She seems to be willing and insistent, so for better or for worse, he takes her with him. He knows she is broken, and in spite of his name, he doesn’t want to hurt her. But if he isn’t careful, someone else will hurt Candace. She is his mate now, so it’s his duty to protect her.
Author’s Note: This is a full, standalone novel with a happily-ever-after. The books in the Orc Mates series can be read in any order.

A few words about Tribute to the Alpha. If you missed the world of my Shifter Brides, if you missed the atmosphere in Sold to the Alpha, you will love this prequel novella! Why is it a prequel? Well, because I decided to tell the story of the very first shifter bride, right after the war between shifters and humans ended. She was the one who came up with the idea of boarding schools for shifter brides, and Alma Venus was later named after her. I hope you enjoy it! I also made sure to write an extra growly Alpha!
And now a few words about my two orcs. While Rogan the Gray (in the anthology) is a novella, Vorgak the Cruel (pre-order on Amazon) is a full, standalone novel. The novels in this series can be read in any order. They are set in the same world, but feature different couples.
