Hey lovelies! I said I'd let you know when my prequel to the Alma Venus Shifter-Brides series is free on Amazon. Well, it is. Amazon was nice enough to price match pretty early, but I just thought I'd wait a week, so I don't bombard you with emails. That's the most important news I have for you today. Tribute to the Alpha is free and ready for you to enjoy it!
The other news is that I finally got the cover for the story I have in the Angels and Demons anthology, which is also free on BookFunnel. I'm so excited to show you! I kind of love it, and my designer and I worked really closely to get it right.
I don't have anything else that is super new... I'm still working on getting Rogan the Gray ready for release on April 17. I didn't have a great week, and I struggled with my daily word counts. I think that after I publish Rogan, I might take a week or two off.
The thing is... I'm not burned out, but something else has been happening lately. I believe that for the first time since the world went into lockdown, I'm starting to feel the effects, and it's starting to really affect me that I'm mostly isolated, that I can't meet new people, and I can't travel. I used to recharge my batteries by traveling and meeting people, because that was (and is) how I learn new stuff. And the fact that I'm just stuck inside and I can only see the same 4-5 friends every two weeks or so has gotten me really depressed. Add to that the fact that this week I couldn't go to my usual yoga classes because I apparently came into contact with someone who tested positive last Saturday, and this week has been just... ugh! I have no symptoms, though, and I did the test and it came out negative. At least there's that.
But I'm chugging along, and I will do my absolute best to have Rogan the Gray ready for release. Amazon keeps bugging me with emails that I have to upload the final manuscript. LOL I'm doing it! I'm getting there!
