New ORC coming your way!
Jul 24, 2021 11:01 pm
The second I wrote that email subject, I wondered how many of you will read orc like an abbreviation and shout out loud "WTF is O.R.C.??". Hmm... Maybe I'm overthinking this. But you know, it could stand for... let's see... outgoing rowdy comet. That's the first thing that comes to mind. I'm really bad at this.
Aaaaanyways, here's the news! And it's great news! I'm currently writing a new orc romance for you, and my designer sent me the cover yesterday evening. It's absolutely gorgeous! I love it. I immediately whipped up a blurb and set up a pre-order on Amazon. I can never tell if my blurbs are any good. Most writers struggle with them, but I never quite struggled... I just write them down in five to ten minutes and then pray for the best. You tell me! Is this blurb good for anything? The truth is I don't have enough patience to take my time. Haha! Sometimes I'll go back and change it a bit when the book goes live.
Pre-order Kaius the Fierce now!
** The release date is set for September 11, but that's just to give me plenty of time to finish the book and edit it. I'm really aiming for the last week of August. I love doing pre-orders, but if the deadline is too tight, they stress me out! **

Grace Adams is out of options. Fate hasn’t been kind to her, and she feels like she’s failing at every step. With too many responsibilities on her shoulders, it’s hard to keep a job and pay rent on time, and she’s so tired of the men she comes across taking advantage of her. The worst part is that the one she loves most has to suffer for it, too. She needs to get away. She needs to try the one thing she hasn’t tried yet – becoming an orc bride. Maybe this time, she’ll find someone to take care of her for once, protect her and nurture her like she’s always dreamed.
Kaius the Fierce knows this is a bad time to take a human mate, but the life of a captain can get lonely, especially when he’s so far from home. Since his horde landed in the humans’ dimension, not much has changed. He’s still fighting with an enemy horde over land, and it doesn’t help that in their home world, they each pledged their loyalty to enemy war chiefs. For Kaius, life is a never-ending battle. Maybe it’s selfish of him to bring sweet, curvy, gentle Grace in the middle of it, but he can’t help it. He feels like she needs him, and protecting those who need him has always been his calling.

Now for some book recs! These ones are all live, and you can read them this weekend! I really am not sure which are in KU and which aren't (because I'm in Romania, we don't have KU, so I don't see that info on Amazon), but I'm guessing... most of them are? Happy reading!

Evil. Dangerous. A necromancer gone bad.
That’s what people say about Kati Wilson.

Everything changed when the vampires arrived.
I’m starving, alone in a dark cave, and grieving those who I lost.
But I’m not giving up just yet. I’m a fighter, a survivor. A little fear won’t get in my way.
A vampire will, though. And he chooses the worst time to show himself.
Only he doesn’t want blood... He wants something even more sacred. Something I’m not willing to give away.

A menacing brute, a vicious bastard.
A delicate captive, a broken ruse.
A wayward trickster, a beautiful threat.
I've got way more important things to worry about—like my sister starting a war with the dragons, or the Vampire King descending on my city, or my father's overbearing ways tromping all over me becoming the true Master of the Order of Bear Shifters.
It's not easy being me. Even with half a dozen dudes in distress vying for a white knight role in my life.

Faced with an order to kill an innocent woman, a woman he is rapidly coming to love, he discovers that his allegiance has changed. But that’s not a decision the hunters will easily accept.
