Two things: I need a German speaker, and Legacies #3 is coming!

I really tried to fit the super important things I need to tell you in the subject. LOL Sometimes, I don't know how to make my list open my emails. Like... if I only specified the thing about the native German speaker, how many of you would've opened it? And if I specified only that the third book in Grim Reaper Academy - Legacies is *finally* up for pre-order, hmm... again... Though I kind of have a feeling that a lot of you have been waiting for this book for a while, so maybe you would've opened (and actually have opened) this email just to hit reply and yell at me: "Took you long enough, woman!!"

All right, let's take things one at a time. Haha!

I've started the process of hiring a German translator for my orc books. A few weeks ago, I thought it would be a good idea to promote Baruk the Cursed on Facebook to more than the usual suspects (US, UK, Canada, Australia), and I added Germany and Austria to my audience. The people in the comments weren't happy, but in a good way! They weren't happy that Baruk wasn't available in German, which is actually great news to me, because now I know what I have to do. Translate my Orc Mates series.

I found a possible translator and I gave her a short test - two pages from Vorgak the Cruel. She'll get them back to me on Monday or Tuesday, but then the problem is that I don't know German, so I need someone (preferably more people) to read the sample and tell me if it sounds as it should.

So, if you're a native German speaker, please, please, please hit reply to this email and let me know. I promise I won't take too much of your time. To do this right, I need a bit of help in the beginning.

Okay, next!

Year Three: Heroes! The third and final book in the spin-off series to Grim Reaper Academy!

That was a mouthful...

What follows is a cover reveal, blurb reveal, pre-order links, and my promise to you that I will get this done. I set the release date to December, but I have every intention to have the book on your Kindles at the end of November. Hopefully, life won't get in the way. We're in total lock-down over here, so I'm not getting out of the house much. Like... not at all. Nothing should interrupt me from writing.

But even so... even if some kind of interruption happens, in my eight years of writing and publishing, I have never missed a pre-order deadline, and I have never pushed a pre-order to a later date. So, in my book, a pre-order is a promise. This baby is coming, and I know you've been waiting and messaging me about it, and I will do my best to give you an awesome book.

I am trapped in Hell by a demon that seems to be more powerful than Satan himself. A prisoner in a nightmarish castle where I get lost in eerie mazes for days, while my baby grows inside me… I'm running out of time, but I cannot escape, so I have to strike a bargain with my captor. But what he wants from me is too much. I cannot give it to him and live with myself after.

I wish Adrian, Seth, and Davien would rescue me now. But this devil… this monster that calls himself the King in Yellow keeps them away. No one can penetrate his ancient magic. He’s more than he seems, more than he says. The only way I can return to my lovers and finish the job I started is to pass his trials and accept his proposal. I knew there would be a price to pay. I just never imagined it would be so… crushing.

I know I told you about my new orc romance group on Facebook, but I haven't showed you the pretty group cover yet, have I? I launched it with a fugly graphic that even I couldn't look at. LOL Now we're good. We look professional. My graphic designer did this for me, and I just love the font and the effects!

And then there's this one, which I also love!

Yeah, I know... there's a lot of space everywhere, but that's just because Facebook has to adapt the banner to all devices, and cuts so much of the graphic that it's not even funny. Took me a while to get these right...

Okay, I don't know what's wrong with me today. Very chatty. I'll go do my accounting, so I can focus on writing and writing alone starting tomorrow. Oh... right! That's why I'm chatty. Can you tell accounting is not my favorite pastime?

I'm gonna go now.

Love,

Cara
