ARC Opportunity from Eva Brandt

Hello, my Wylde-lings!

Let's see... Promises she will update you every week. Proceeds to disappear for another month. Sound familiar?

Yes, that's me. Again.

I don't know, man, it's just hard to write, edit, read (because I can't live without reading at least a few pages a day), and do all the marketing. Not that I'm complaining, because I love my job, but I just wanted you to know why I usually disappear like this. Well, sometimes I disappear because I'm moving either to a new city or a new country, but mostly, I disappear because I'm engrossed in a book I'm either writing or reading.

Right now, I'm reading Alchemised, and I'm in love. It's very hard to put down, and I love that it's over 1000 pages. It means I get to spend more time in that world.

I'm also getting ready to write a new book in a totally new series. It's a project I've been plotting for a while now, and it's time. I feel ready to write it! That's why I set up the release day for late November, so the deadline will force me to sit my bum down and do the work. It's stressful to write on a deadline, but it's also amazing to become so engrossed in a book, write every day, dream about it at night, and then when it's done, it's such a great reward. Check it out below. It's available to pre-order on Amazon. I'm super proud of the title, the series title, the cover, the story concept, everything...

And of course, we're continuing with the gothic, Frankenstein-inspired theme.

Born in a dungeon so deep that the sky, the grass, and the sea are just myths.

He has no name, only what they call him: Construct-XII. His memories, his fears and nightmares are not his own, and his hands know skills he never learned. He is a collection of parts that came from dead men.

When a fire burns it all to the ground, he finds himself alone and disoriented in a world too vast. His sudden freedom is torture. He does what he must to secure a place in a prison cell, the constriction of four walls the only thing that gives him comfort. He’d rather waste away than live. It’s what he deserves. He saw the humans outside and how they react to him. He’s an abomination.

Then one night, a new prisoner is thrown into the cell next to his. Instead of screaming, like all the others, she sings.

She sings, and he wants to sing with her.

I can't wait for you to read Bought by the Revenant, which comes out on October 8th. Which is... this Wednesday! Because I can't wait to see if you're into Frankenstein-inspired monsters or not. I hope you are. I mean, I hope you're into mine, cause I don't know what's been happening lately, but I'm so into broken monsters surrounded by all things gothic.

My hubby made some art for Bought by the Revenant, which I included in both the ebook and the paperback. Look how gorgeous Riven is! Yes, his eyes are white and glowing. And I hope this book breaks your heart. *evil laugh*

Bought by the Revenant is part of a collaborative series called Monsters' Bride Market. My friend, Eva Brandt, is looking for ARC readers for her book, Bought by the Cerberus, and she asked me to share the link with you. If you're on BookSprout, please consider giving her book a try. Or you can make a BookSprout account to be able to claim advanced reader copies. She's looking for 50 reviewers, so there aren't many spots left.
