Hi Wylde-lings! Happy New Year! This is the first newsletter of 2022, and I hope it finds you well. Have you made any new year's resolutions? Have you started dieting and working out on January 1st? Haha! This year, I have made NO resolutions at all. I have a vague idea about what I want to accomplish, sure, but I find that resolutions and well-defined goals don't work for me. And I noticed that last year I hadn't made any and it turned out to be a wonderful year! I'm using the same "method" of not using a method at all.

Okay, enough of that. Let's talk about books. Have you seen all the monster romance books that will launch this year? What do you think about that? Are you going to read them?

For now, I'm sticking with orcs and other alien beasts. I also have plans for a demon series this fall. This year is also the year I finish my Rise of the Ash Gods series. Anything else I can write is a bonus.

And speaking of orcs, the next book in the Orc Mates series will release in March, and it's up for pre-order. I held off on talking about it because the cover needed a revamp first. If you read Grimor the Joyless, then you probably saw Torgar the Molten mentioned at the end with a cover that was not exactly up to par. Well, I changed the cover and now it looks so much better! My boyfriend actually made the orc, and then my cover designer painted his arm and assembled the cover. I'm pretty fond of the result.

Before you say "what the hell? why do I have to wait until March?!", hear me out. Haha! I have something planned for January too! And then for February. I am hard at work, believe me. The writing cave has never before seen so much of me. I live in it now.

At the end of January, two things will happen. One, the German edition of Vorgak the Cruel will be launched. I'm excited, but I'm also stressed and a little scared, because I have no idea how it will be received.

If you've read so far (this is a long email, sorry) and you're a German speaker who wants an ARC of Vorgak der Grausame, hit reply to this email, and when the book is ready (around January 16), I will personally send out the ARCs.

This is book one of a series of standalone novels that won't only follow different couples, but will feature different alien monsters too. I'm pretty excited about it! These stories will be fun, light, and steamy. Not a drop of darkness, if I can help it. I'm having a blast with Heart of an Orc!

Unfortunately, I have to revamp this cover too. Not because I don't like it... I love it! This one really came out great. But the problem is that the stock photo of the model is very popular and is being used by other authors who write orc romance. I don't want to confuse readers, so I'm changing my orc. This will probably happen right before the release date, so for a week at least, you'll still see this gorgeous original cover.

Fresh out of college, with a degree in Biochemistry and wild dreams for the future, I can’t believe my luck when I get a job as a lab assistant with the mysterious organization IMRA.
