In this virtual classroom we will discuss how to evaluate rock types and select the most appropriate bolts for each rock type (both mechanical and glue-in), critical points for proper placement of bolts to make them secure and long-lasting, with Rich's perspectives from more than four decades of canyoneering, guiding and teaching.

Students are encouraged to submit bolting scenarios and questions in advance to be included in the discussions.
