- The U Sports recruiting cycle is slower than normal for obvious reasons, this year, but we're starting to get some serious movement as the Calgary Dinos landed their first CFC100 out of Manitoba. Our take: With three NCAA D1 offers on the table, CFC100 Class of 2023 defensive end Devan Houstan is starting to heat up the airwaves.
At 6'5" and 270lbs, he's come a long way from his recent interview on CFC's 'Intros with Kato'. Houstan has an awesome frame and is still growing into his body. He also uses his hands extremely well and is always hustling. No small feat for this manchild. Will be curious to see what position he settles into as he develops.

SOUTH OF THE BORDER
The commits are starting to arrive at a more frequent rate, and last week we saw another Canadian make their dreams come true as CFC100 OL Dave Thomson committed to Colgate. The 6'6", 300lbs offensive tackle is currently playing down south at Brooks School in Massachusetts, and also spent time at Clarkson Football North as he accumulated offers from Bryant University and New Hampshire. In the end Colgate was the right place for Thomson who also signed CFC100 DB Arthur Hamlin from the Class of 2019.
