Happy Easter!

Spring is in the air...
I love Spring and Easter. It is a time of renewal, rebirth. I have fond memories of my Dutch-born mother's tulips bursting forth, in an array of colors, from her gardens. I love seeing buds pop their heads throw remnants of snow saying, "here I am, ready to grow, ready to burst forth into this world!"
We have fun, family traditions. Hiding Easter baskets for the older kids. I have 7 brothers who take great pleasure in making it harder and harder for the older nephews to find their baskets. This year, I have mostly adult children. So the hiders made sure to make it extra difficult.
I also find great peace in the message of a Savior of the World, paying the price for our sins and breaking the shackles of death. The empty tomb representing a risen Lord is a message of hope and peace. Whether you are a believer or not, my hope is you are filled with joy and peace this time of year.
In Utah, we have the mask mandates lifting next week. I'm so excited to get back to seeing others. I was able to visit my mother, who is in a memory care center. It has been very difficult to not see her (other than doctor visits) for over a year. I am very grateful for the vaccine and the care she has been given. I was so happy to see her smiling face, even though her communication and memory are limited.
Is there anything that brings you peace and hope in these crazy times? I try and fill my stories with hope and values that will bring joy to readers. I'm working hard to finish Fourth Earth and start on the fifth book which will round out the Arch Mage Series. This year should be one filled with adventure!
Anyway, back to Fourth Earth for me, here are some fun giveaways and promotions I'm involved with.
Giveaways and Sales!!
Here are some giveaways and sales that I have entered to promote my books. Just a word of caution... I have not read these and cannot vouch for content. While I try and swap with clean ya fantasy authors, there are all kinds of genres and heat levels that you'll have to decide for yourself.

The tunnels will open again tonight. This time, we’re not strong enough to stop it.
Will has always dreamed of becoming a knight. Stuck as a lowly village boy with no dreams or aspirations, when he’s summoned to train as a squire in the mighty castle of Alamore, it seems too good to be true. He’s determined to prove himself to the other squires that he trains with every day.
But there’s much more to becoming a knight than meets the eye. After stumbling upon a secret network of passageways hidden beneath the castle, Will uncovers a group of long-forgotten enemies of the crown. As old alliances with other kingdoms begin to fracture and their uneasy peace comes to an end, Will finds himself thrust headlong into a brewing war—and he soon realizes that more than luck brought him to Alamore.
Will must unravel the secrets lurking in the shadowy halls of Alamore and find a way to stop a seemingly inevitable war. But the answer lies with a man even more mysterious than the passages he roams. A man known as the Ranger of Kings…
If you like gripping medieval fantasy adventures with a dash of mystery and a ton of danger, then you won’t want to miss the page-turning first book in the William of Alamore series. Grab your copy now!

Warriors fight battles. Priests give hope.
Sometimes you need both to win against unbeatable odds.
The victorious army of Fin has recovered the relic that King Frederick hopes will unite the entire plain of Apos.
Ward Finlay, the king's general, looks forward to a well-deserved rest for his men. The king's priest, Sage Bennett, studies the relic eagerly to discover its secrets.
None of them see the danger coming from the sea: an enormous Ballentine army sails up the river Apos, burning villages and murdering Fin's citizens with their three-bladed death dance.
Holding the only high ground for leagues, the army of Fin is hopelessly outnumbered.
Their only hope is a vision given to Sage Bennett.
Will they flee and lose their kingdom, or stand and lose their lives?
The Relic is the adventurous origin story of the warrior monks seen in Brandon Wilborn's debut novel, The Treasure of Capric.
Dark forces are at play and the Lightbringer prophecy is unfolding.
Lucy Duceaul must learn to harness her Lightbringer powers at Scoil Solas if she is to stand a chance.
Yet the school of Lightbringers hides secrets that aren't what she signed up for. The more she uncovers the truth hidden in the Lumenary Prophetiae, the tighter the grip is of those she thought she could trust.
Clues in the book allude to a Witchlight Quest and they seem to point her to dragon territory.
Being the daughter of order and chaos, Lucy must find the balance between the Lotus and the Dragon.
Her Sidhe side is acting up, and she's enjoying the harm she causes on those she loves. Yet that side of her is just what she might need to survive.
Dragons after all are one with the Sidhe.
