4th Earth progress and Giveaways!

Fourth Earth, full steam ahead!
I've been busy trying to make my February goal of 90k words and 1st draft of Fourth Earth. I didn't quite make it, but the last Saturday, I did write the most words in 1 day I've every written at 9k! For me, the grind of getting words on the page is the hardest. I actually like the work after of refining, adding, cutting, tweaking and polishing. I think I've gotten pretty good at that part. Needless to say, 9k in 1 day left me pretty hammered.
I'm also excited to get started on my logo for the 5th book in the Arch Mage series. When I get that finished, I'm hoping to create and sell some fun t-shirts, hoodies and other items. It will be a way to spread the Arch Mage around.
In other news, I've been busy with Youth Theater. February saw the production of the Lion King, which was so fun. The youth and audiences loved the rich story and it was a great experience to share in African culture. This next month we will produce Beauty and the Beast, also a beloved musical. I enjoy bringing these stories to life on the stage.
Anyway, back to Fourth Earth for me, here are some fun giveaways and promotions I'm involved with.
Giveaways and Sales!!
Here are some giveaways and sales that I have entered to promote my books. Just a word of caution... I have not read these and cannot vouch for content. While I try and swap with clean ya fantasy authors, there are all kinds of genres and heat levels that you'll have to decide for yourself.
Here's a fellow Wishing Shelf Award Winner, Rae Knightly's Ben Archer series. I haven't read this (yet) but hear good things.
A BOY WITH AN ALIEN POWER.
“The thing is, it wasn’t meteors that fell into the woods that night. It was alien spacecraft.”
The Wishing Shelf Book Awards 2019 Silver Medal Winner - Author Academy Awards 2019 Finalist - READER'S FAVORITE ★★★★★
When UFOs crash into the fields next to his grandfather’s house, twelve-year-old Ben Archer becomes a cumbersome witness in the eyes of the government. Not only that, but Ben discovers he has been entrusted with an alien power, the significance of which could jeopardize human life on Earth.
Government agents rush in to remove all evidence of spacecraft and extraterrestrials. The media are led to believe meteors fell in the area and they dub the event The Cosmic Fall. But when Ben's involvement comes in the spotlight, he is forced to flee with the sole survivor of the crash: an alien man called Mesmo.
And while the destinies of boy and alien become inextricably linked, one question hovers above their unlikely friendship: why did the aliens come to Earth in the first place?
The Alien Skill Series is a science-fiction adventure series for teens. Readers who enjoy The Proto Project or Crime Travelers will enjoy this fresh, age-appropriate story with a scifi twist the likes of A Wrinkle in Time and Animorphs. These middle-grade books have won the hearts of young and old alike, turning them into a best-selling, award-winning coming-of-age series filled with alien powers, hidden enemies, shapeshifters and a thought-provoking glimpse into the way we treat our planet.
In the entire kingdom of Ahri, Princess Sahri is the only person who can talk to animals and heal them. She’s beloved by the people, but she’s living a lie. Deep inside, she wants a man who she’s not just forbidden to be with, but he’s also a criminal, part of the Ahri Reformation—using the Rune of Obedience to force criminals who fight well to put their talents to better use. What’s worse, is the man—her bodyguard, Jekre—hates her and the entire royal family for what they’ve done.
But those are the least of Sahri’s worries.
The Anati are creatures who bring life and springtime to Ahri every time they return from their long migration across the Sea. But when someone murders them, the kingdom faces a famine that will destroy them all.
Not all hope is lost—yet.
Two of the Anati had eggs. If Sahri can use her powers to keep the eggs long enough to help them get to the nesting grounds, the Anati will live. As the young ones grow, they can heal the land and save the kingdom and Sahri’s people.
The only problem is that her parents ordered her bodyguard to keep her inside the palace. The Rune of Obedience forces Jekre to comply—which means he’ll do whatever it takes to keep Sahri inside.
Who killed the Anati? The threat to the kingdom is a mystery, unknown by everyone except Jekre. And he’s been sworn to silence.
Can Sahri escape, and if she does, will she be able to get the eggs to the nesting ground in time?
Or will a famine bring Ahri to its knees?
A series with the most elaborate quest the world has ever seen, culminating in a final decision that will determine the fate of our existence as we know it…if only the Eternal Quest Breaker can find a way to overcome the two magic schemers’ battle.
Susy finds herself in isolation with no recollection of her past. Her only friend leaves unexpectedly after handing her a mysterious key-like pendant. To use for what?
When trying to escape her captivity, she is snapped up by a man whose grip is too soft to be that of a kidnapper and too firm to be that of a stranger, but when Susy lays her eyes on him her heart is instantly trapped!
This man speaks of an Honorary Knight Order, a map and seven stones with magical powers that open portals.
Susy’s view of the world will never be the same again!
Love and secrets delay their quest and concerns grow that the balance of life will not be re-established in time as the evil of the two magical schemers gets closer to his goal.
Dark forces are at play and the Lightbringer prophecy is unfolding.
Lucy Duceaul must learn to harness her Lightbringer powers at Scoil Solas if she is to stand a chance.
Yet the school of Lightbringers hides secrets that aren't what she signed up for. The more she uncovers the truth hidden in the Lumenary Prophetiae, the tighter the grip is of those she thought she could trust.
Clues in the book allude to a Witchlight Quest and they seem to point her to dragon territory.
Being the daughter of order and chaos, Lucy must find the balance between the Lotus and the Dragon.
Her Sidhe side is acting up, and she's enjoying the harm she causes on those she loves. Yet that side of her is just what she might need to survive.
Dragons after all are one with the Sidhe.
This urban fantasy thriller will draw you into a dark and fascinating world where magic isn’t a gift, it’s a life sentence.

First, their wands were taken. Then it was their freedom.
Emilia Harris is on the run. Like so many of her fellow Wandless, she has been taken from her family and locked away for the best part of a decade. Finally finding a way to escape, she unlocks her previously dormant powers – but without a wand to focus them, she’s a danger to everyone... including herself.
The full might of the Anti-Magic Security Force is in pursuit, with no intention of taking her alive. Greater England is no longer safe and Emilia must desperately flee north, seeking sanctuary in the Democratic Republic of Scotland.
But even if she succeeds, can she hide the true reason she's been labelled a threat to society - a terrible truth that has nothing to do with her magic?
Monsters don’t exist. At least, they didn’t until we created them.
Maiyamon was once merely a game. Now it's a global reality. After dozens of hit monster collecting games raked in billions of credits per year, it was inevitable someone would create real ones. Unfortunately, it wasn’t so obvious how many people would dump them in the wild…
Sam Wentworth grew up with nothing. She’s worked tirelessly just to get through college and earn her first monster. Bankrupt and exhausted, she sets her sights on fame and fortune in Maiyamon arenas. Instead, Sam’s caught between battling the rampaging elemental creatures abandoned by their owners and standing up to a toxic group intent on ending the game forever.
With her flame fox cub, Finn, at her side, Sam sets out to build a team capable of protecting both innocent people’s lives and the creatures she loves. That’s the easy part.
Monsters may fill the world, but it’s humans she fears the most…
My name is Clara Rivers, or at least that's what I'm telling people.
I come from a community called The Complex that regulates who gets superpowers. When you turn eighteen, you go through Trials to get your abilities from power sources.
Except I was born with mine, and that's never happened before.
Think hiding telepathic and telekinetic powers is scary? Try hiding the fact that an evil power source called the Blue Star has been showing me visions of my death if I don't use its power. And I was dumb enough to listen.
Now I can't remember who I am, and I'm desperate to find answers as the Blue Star continues to show me my death. Someone is coming after me and I need to hide, but blending in while losing control of explosive powers isn't easy.
And that's an even bigger challenge when I run into Nate and Glitch, who are hiding their own abilities. I'm immediately drawn to Nate's shadow powers, and the Blue Star sees it too. There's something growing between us, and I'm not so sure it's evil.
The more we uncover about my past and the Blue Star, the less certain I am about what we thought we knew. I need to figure out who I was before I lost my memories because the headaches are getting worse, I'm losing control of my powers, and I desperately want to give in to the evil power source.
An engineer craving to become a warrior. A majyu with his future bound in filial piety… and a dark sorcerer who steals women into the night.
Genshu Hidekazu and Masanori swore their lives to defend, giving up their family’s warrior legacy as their parents did before them. Hidekazu is the family’s dutiful scion, preparing to take his father’s place, and Masanori studies as a ki-engineer, carving himself a future in a world that looks down on those unable to access the Goddess’ power: ki.
Yet when a dark sorcerer kidnaps their best friend, and they learn she is only one of many, they refuse to let their parents’ way of life stop them from doing what’s right.
Hidekazu and Masanori must learn to fight, even if it means betraying their parents’ ideals. Otherwise, the good they swore to protect will fall beneath the fist of darkness, their friends with it.
Masa and Hide’s journey begins in Spirit of the Dragon, the first of four novellas prefacing the Wyvern Wars series: an epic fantasy adventure inspired by selections of Japanese mythology and folklore.
