Christmas is almost here! I've been enjoying the holiday season, but it seems like it's going by SO fast. 2026 will be here before we know it, but I love taking the time to look back on the year. There are so many blessings to be counted, so many memories that were made. I have so much to be grateful for.

And, of course, one of those things is all of you: my wonderful readers. That's why I've filled this email with some Christmas surprises. It's not much, but I hope it will bring you a little holiday cheer. Know how much I appreciate all of you. I hope you have a fantastic holiday!

Above, I've posted a sale on Saved By Mistle Tow. If you're still itching for cozy Christmas reads, be sure to grab it!

I've also got a few updates and a few more presents. Keep reading!

Recently, I've finished the first draft of Evading the Lieutenant. It's rough. It needs editing. But the story is written. Yay! I'll be working hard on edits in my spare time (which, let's be honest, won't be much) the rest of the year and early into Jan. While I haven't set an official release date yet, you can expect this book for certain in Feb.

Until then, I've got some bonus content to hold you over. For those who have read Matching Mr. Montfert, you'll have already met Annette and Edward and know they participated in a fake courtship. Evading the Lieutenant takes place after that fake courtship, but I didn't want readers to miss out completely on those exchanges. So, BEHOLD THE BONUS CONTENT!! And it can be read either before OR after Evading the Lieutenant.

Now. You can read it now. *PARTY STREAMERS*

In addition to bonus content, I've also got a cover reveal for the next book in the Apsley Family series. Again, no official release date, but it will be coming in 2026. You can PreOrder it now by clicking the graphic or find the link at the bottom of this email.

Here's the blurb:

Can the wrong man be right for her heart?

With the threat of ruin looming over her family, Harriet Rigby has one final Season to marry well. Driven by familial duty, Harriet reluctantly agrees to her mother’s scheme to entrap the new Viscount Paxton into marriage. All goes according to plan until Harriet discovers the man she’s caught alone with in a dark library is not the viscount, but his twin brother.

As an unsocial second son, Rowe Apsley never expected to find himself embroiled in scandal. Despite their forced marriage, he’s determined to come to know his wife, but how can he achieve that when the woman is too nervous around him to utter a word? Desperate, Rowe devises a plan: pretend to be his twin brother long enough to establish a friendship with Harriet. After all, she’s already mistaken their identities once.

As the façade continues and Harriet begins to return his deepening regard, Rowe fears he’s convinced his wife to fall in love with the wrong man. Will his duplicity cost him his one chance at love?
