We are writing to inform you of an upcoming change to the application of the British Columbia Provincial Sales Tax (PST).
Effective October 1, 2026, the B.C. government is expanding the application of PST to certain services that were previously exempt. As a result of this legislative change, PST at the applicable rate will be charged on our services where required by the new rules.
This is a requirement under B.C. provincial legislation and is not a discretionary fee imposed by our firm. Accordingly, invoices issued for taxable services on or after October 1, 2026 will include PST where applicable.
We will update our invoicing and accounting systems to comply with these requirements.
