Hey, sister (and our brothers who love us);  

So yesterday was International Women's Day- yay! I'm sure many people think that women have too many days to celebrate them and this is just one more “mother’s day”. 

No, it isn’t. You know we have Mother’s Day and yes we celebrate it loudly. 

But this IWD is for all women above 18, married or unmarried; mothers, grandmothers or never birthed; black or Caucasian; career women or homemakers; business owners or employees; trailblazers or those still trying to find themselves. ALL WOMEN! 

Now you see how amazing it is right? 

This celebration gives us an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come as a gender, what glass ceilings we have shattered and what more heights there are to conquer! 

So this year, as we celebrate each other, we raise our glasses to all the women out there doing us proud, all those shattering the glass ceilings; those on the journey to shattering the glass ceilings; and those still trying to figure out their lives. We are all women. We see you all and celebrate you all. 

This year, we #ChooseToChallenge the view that we can’t be all and do all. We rise. We conquer. We are women!!! We are powerful!!!
