I didn’t feel like going to work today. Yes! I know I’m not alone. I mean, this Christmas holiday was way too short this year 😩

Anyway, even though I didn’t feel like going to work today, I knew that I couldn’t just miss work simply because I didn’t feel like it. 

I’m a mother of 4 and daily I tell my children that yes your feelings matter, but you must develop a sense of responsibility. You don’t do things only when you feel like them. You do things because you have to. Others are counting on your to. Your life needs you to! 

How would it look if I lazed in bed today and they came to ask me why I wasn’t at work and I said “because I didn’t feel like it?” Guess what would happen on the day they are to resume? Everyone would over sleep, “because they don’t feel like getting up!”

Parenting means you cannot just behave anyhow o. Little eyes are watching and characters are being formed. So what am I on about? It is 2023. I know you probably don’t feel like writing down your goals or breaking it down into strategies…. But here’s the thing - your life depends on it! Your growth requires it.
