What do you believe?

Affirmations are powerful!

In simple English, affirmations are words you say to yourself that you believe to be true. Science has proven that what you believe works for you. We are also told that words are powerful and there’s power in the tongue.

If this is so, shouldn’t we be conscious about what we say to ourselves to the hearing of ourselves and others?

I'll tell you a story.

My 5YO recently started primary school and in his first week, he complained that the teacher had given him lots of words to write and he didn’t think he could cope with writing “all those long words”.

I hugged him and explained that he was now in Year 1 and school was about to get a little tougher (than preschool), but it was nothing he couldn’t handle. I told him to repeat after me “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

He did but didn’t look convinced, so I added a little animation. I started to act that Phil 4:13 verse by animating it. Within minutes he was excited, jumping, reciting the verse and then he hugged me and happily went off to school.

When he got back, I asked him how it went. "The day was great! I wrote all my words!" he answered. Yay!

He did better at school because he believed he could. B.O.T.H ti di big boy.

Affirmations work whether you’re 5 yrs old or 50.

So what is your confession today? Speak it out loud! Here are some of mine:

✅I am God's Child

✅I am chosen

✅I am loved by the Most High

✅I am wonderfully created

✅I’m the apple of His eye!

What are you saying to yourself this week? Have a blessed week! I love you and I'm rooting for you.

P.S. I have a new product that can help you if you want to write a book. More info tomorrow.
