May 20, 2020 12:00 pm

Hello again.

I got responses saying how useful yesterday's tips were. You're welcome. I aim to serve.

Before you think i'm going to be in your face daily, please understand that this is only for this week in which I want to try to share the nuggets from the summit. Don't run off just yet. I promise you, this is worth your while. I've reduced it to 5 mails in all, so its maneagable.

KWAME A.A. OPOKU - THE FUTURE OF WORK

This speaker blew my mind, by basically telling us that technology is the future of work, and your present skills may not be needed in the next few years, and for some immediately after the pandemic! Timelessness is changing the word, governments are investing in making internet free and accessible. A lot will change rapidly soon.

So here is a summary of what you should reflect on.

  1. How are you positioning yourself for the times? See how Amazon took over Bookstores, UBER over taxi cabs, AirBnB over hotels. What are you developing for your industry?
  2. Don't ignore technology. Technology doesn't care how you feel, but it will take over anyway. So don't fight it. Embrace tech and ride it to relevance. See Zuckerberg, Elon Musk etc.

So what can you do, you might ask?

  1. Create a productivity app. An app is coming soon that will take your job. Why aren't you the one building it?
  2. Investigate how to use Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence in your business. That is the future of work.
  3. Learn High income skills that will always be in demand e.g Communication, Copywriting, Social/ Emotional intelligence.

How do you start? Search for problems and use technology to solve just one!

If you are not a part of the solution, you are a part of the problem.

JIMI TEWE -

He basically talked about producing digital products. He said the internet is a huge airspace, what are you selling there to the teeming population accessing that airspace?

  1. Produce Goods and services that can be sold on the internet "airspace".
  2. Embrace the shift in learning. Have learning agility - adapt to and learn new things quickly. People are paying now for results-based learning. All your proposals should lead with your results.
  3. Find yourself, and be yourself to enough people in the world. If you can find 1000 people who believe in you and your message, you will never lack Influence, Impact or Income.
  4. The world needs your solution. And as you produce this solution, make sure it is globally ready!

So which of these nuggets spoke specifically to you? What is your take-away from this? Do share with me. Do you have a friend who should read this? Don't be selfish. Forward this email to them and ask them to subscribe so you don't keep forwarding daily.

Till tomorrow, when I come your way again with the next batch of nuggets,

I remain,

Your best girl,
