Dear Friend,

The other day I was just lamenting to someone how I didn’t publish any new book this year. My last book, #BrickByBrick was published in December 2020 and it sort of rode the whole of this year. 

Now in my mind I was castigating myself for not writing and publishing a new book, because I had published 3 in 2019 and 4 in 2020. But when I sat down and did a review of my year, it was obvious why I didn’t write a new book. 

I had been busy. 

Good busy. 

The last book I wrote had conferred expert status on me and I was getting calls to do what I do best. And no it’s not writing. 😆

Anyway, this same year, the book took me to Channels Book club and the publicity that came from that astounded me. 😳

People reaching out to buy the book. Others reaching out for building advice. 

Well, when I thought it was over, God said one more thing, dear!

On Wednesday 29th of December 2021, Channels Book Club named my book In its list of Top 20 Books of 2021! 🙌🏾

They usually list 10 books in fiction and 10 in non-fiction categories. Brick by Brick was featured in the fiction category. Well, the story is technically fiction so they didn’t lie. Of course, the book is so much more than mere fiction. It breaks down the process of building a house but uses a story to simplify it. But you already know that, don’t you? 

So why haven’t you bought a copy yet?
