Find Your Own Genius! Nuggets from Headstart Summit (4 of 5)

Hello friend!


The gist is coming to an end, just one more day after this. I have had to skip some of the skippers, I am sharing the sessions that resonated most with me, and those that stood out. Today, i want to assure you that you are a genius! Just do some searching to find it.

  • If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will always come short. Find what you are genius at. What gets you excited.
  • Find a paiimagen point in the society and design a solution for it. Do your feasibility study for it.
  • Then launch!
  • Market your solution as if your life depends on it.
  • Take a stock at your network. Do you have people who can connect you to the levels you aspire to? Find an entry point to the network you desire to join.
  • When given a small opportunity, go the extra mile.
  • Find a mentor. Buy courses or books from that mentor, learn!
  • Build social presence.

  • First, reinvent your mindset. Don't operate on a scarcity mindset. Find a coach to work with that can show you that abundance is possible.
  • To answer the question of whether you should pivot your business, ask yourself if your product or services will be relevant post-covid? Can you change your business model to offer what is relevant now? If the business is saturated, can you operate at another point on the value chain?
  • Build your Audience. Understand the audience you are serving. Do you need to be building an email list, a whatsapp broadcast list or a text messaging list? Follow up with your old customers to drive repeat purchase.
  • Learn the greatest of all skills - How to Sell! How can you differentiate your product from others? Innovate (do something new); Make it cheaper: Make it better; Or Deliver faster.
  • Identify your target customer's buying journey and position yourself along that journey. be on platforms like konga and jumia for visibility.
  • Learn how to create sales funnels.
  • Aim to be the best at what you do, not the biggest.
  • Know that it is not by how talented you are, it is in your ability to show up.
