imageHello again.

I hope you are not tired of the lessons yet? We are getting to the juicy part. Today, I bring you nuggets from two speakers. First up is:

PAUL FOH - The Master Sales Coach

He basically outlined what you need to do to meet your sales targets. All that talk of "I cannot sell", please shelve it. Everyone can sell. You can learn the skill. You must, to survive.

1.   Put out content consistently. In content creation, make sure you are giving value, and giving it consistently. CNN doesn't put out content once a week, why should you? show up everyday with so much vale that when people think of your industry, your name must naturally come up.

Use two types of content to draw people in:

a, How to.... (How-to- posts)

b, 5 ways to.... (Listicles). In crafting your content, make sure your title is captivating.

Have a lead magnet. A little taste of value to "sweeten the pot." This must be crafted to make them buy whatever you are selling. If for example, you are selling cosmetics, write a book on "a night routine to attain great skin".

To make a simple ebook: Record your audio content on the voice recorder of your phone. Upload this to Rev.com (it turns audio into pdf) and go to Canva.com to make a cover. And voila! You have a lead magnet.

2.Use the SUYA man strategy. He gives you a little to taste and you end up buying a lot. Make sure you have some taster to give in advance, to give the buyers a proof of your results. See lead magnet creation above. Netflix gives 7 free days. If you trust your results, you would give free services or products in advance.

3.Use Social Proof. Social proof accelerates your credibility. Nothing works like testimonials from satisfied customers. Herd mentality makes people buy a product that has many reviews. So pursue reviews and testimonials. And share them.

4.Use price anchoring. When asked for the cost of your services, give a high cost and end up discounting a little. If you call a low price, they will price you till there's nothing left.

Dress well, It makes people believe you deserve to be well paid.

Show up consistently, sell always.
