"Breaking Freelance - How to be a Ninja Rock Star Power Ranger"

(how it looks when you become a kick-ass freelancer)

I'm speaking on a free online event for a community called cFinder on Monday at 6pm CET. Talk is about freelancing, of course. And it would be awesome if you could attend. I'd love to hear what you think.

About the talk:

"Tom is a product designer by day and Stand up comedian by night. But more importantly - a life-long freelancer. In this talk, he will share how he was growing and managing two parallel careers. What is it actually like to work for yourself, build a community and what to do with freedom from office? He will talk about growing as professional. Finding and working with clients from all over the world; share all the good and the bad from his experience. How he does it and is it all worth it."

You can sign up here: https://app.cfinder.com/events/42907

(signups close on Sunday evening)

I was invited to speak at cFinder event by Sebastian Monadjemzadeh from cFinder - who was a guest on my podcast (linked). He reached out to me because his friend has seen me speak in London on a Freelancer community event. And we made a podcast about the importance of Networking and community, and I wrote about it in Breaking Freelance #017 - By the power of Networking! 🤘

I miss the stage

Both Stand-Up Comedy, community events and conferences are a big part of my career, it gives me the opportunity to meet new people and spread knowledge and laughter. So, this year SUCKS, and the few times I got a chance to do my talk and Stand Up shows, I now remember and cherish far more than hundreds of previous ones.

It's a typical case of "You don't know what you have until you lose it". I'm sure you felt like that at some point during 2020 too.

I've been feeling the "online event fatigue" in the past few months, and I know you are bombarded all over the internet with free events, webinars, calls, communities for this and that, shows, streams, and so on... But if you make it to this one - I hope you let me know! 😇 I don't do much of online talks, this will be my third one. Hope it goes well.

See you soon! :)

Cheers!

T.
