Episode 1: Jorge

There were some days that I just needed to be the bagel guy. I knew that if I showed up at the office with bagels and an assortment of cream cheese, that I’d earn the gold star for the day. I was going to need it if I wanted the supervisor position that opened up when Brad left. I wouldn’t be dumb enough to risk my job for a woman though. Brad might have avoided an HR nightmare by transferring, but that didn’t mean I’d have the same stroke of luck. I had to keep my eye on the prize.

When I clicked the button on my keyfob to lock the door, I looked back at my Jetta and imagined it was a Tesla instead. I could probably swing that kind of car payment once I got the job. As my hand curled around the bakery door handle, a small piece of paper flew out of my jacket pocket. It probably wasn’t important, but I didn’t like to litter. I crouched down to pick it up, then stood and swung the door open in a solid motion. As I did so, I came face to face with a cup of coffee. It wasn’t a polite spill either. It erupted from the woman’s hands, throwing dark liquid all over our matching white button up shirts.

“Oh Goddammit,” she said, trying to blot herself with a napkin.

Just inside the bakery was a stack of napkins sitting on a countertop. We clamored inside to grab handfuls of them. Before I knew it, I had a napkin in hand, trying to wipe away what I’d done. The wet sticky shirt clung to her skin, nipples standing erect underneath. The tops of her round breasts shone from the top of the shirt where it was unbuttoned. My cock twitched as I thought about what it would be like to touch them.

“I’m sorry. Are you okay?” I asked.

“Yeah, I think it was my fault,” she laughed.

She smiled all the way up to her bright blue eyes, where golden hair framed her face. We stood in silence for a few minutes. I could see her eyes traveling all over my body, and I wondered if she felt it too. Chemistry was stirring between us. I was certain of it.

“No, no,” I responded. “Let me buy you another.”
