I am excited to invite you to a crucial discussion focusing on one of Nigeria's most pressing challenges: youth unemployment. With over 70% of Nigeria's total population comprised of young people, it is evident that this demographic demands our urgent attention. Regrettably, Nigeria also faces one of the highest youth unemployment rates globally.
That is one side if the story, the other is around how it is incredibly difficult to source great talent. How is this even possible in a country where so many people are unemployed?
On Thursday, we want to explore actionable solutions to this big scary problem. Joining me will be Omokaro Unuakpor , Head of product development at the Lagos state Employment Trust Fund. He is a seasoned professional with a proven track record and extensive experience in developing and implementing programs aimed at addressing youth unemployment.
