Dear,
Growing up, I struggled to express myself around people. I would have something to say, but I would keep quiet even though it would help.
Sometimes, I thought too much about what people would say about me, whether I would make a mistake and I would be ridiculed, or whether they would accept me.
From the outside, it probably looked like I was just being shy. But inside, there was much more happening.
I was worried about people's opinions; I wanted to be accepted. I was afraid of making mistakes and sometimes found myself holding back simply because I didn't want to feel embarrassed.
