Hey everyone! Happy March! We have a saying around here (probably around a lot of places?) that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. For us, March has started out gently, which leaves me thinking we're going to end up with 3 feet of snow by the end of the month.
I never complain about the snow, though. The kids love sledding, and I love curling up with a big mug of cocoa and a good book. What's your favorite thing to do on a snowy or rainy day?

I'm so excited to reveal Mackenzie and Hyla's covers! I finally finished writing Nothing Like This and it came in at 157k words--my longest ever by about 30k words. But I cannot wait for you to get all the details of their story. There's so much you don't know about them yet. By the way, if you haven't started the Friends Like This series yet, do that now so you'll be all caught up by the time Mackenzie & Hyla's first book arrives.
Mackenzie and Hyla's story features SO MANY THINGS, but there's a lot of angst, plenty of those swoony friends to lovers moments, and a healthy amount of right person wrong time. If you want to know more, keep reading for a teaser of Nothing Like This.

A little tease...
“I kissed a girl.”
Trev snaps his head up from the book he’s reading. “Uh, what?”
“I kissed a girl. And I liked it.” I’m flushing again, reliving it. I didn’t just like it. I loved it. But I’m not sure if it was kissing a girl I liked or kissing Mackenzie. It was definitely Mackenzie.
“Who?”
“Mackenzie.”
“I could see that.”
I throw my hand over my mouth. “Crap. I shouldn’t have said that. I told her I wouldn’t tell anyone. No one else knows.”
“You know I won’t say anything.”
“Even to Sarah?” Trevor has been dating one of Mackenzie’s lifelong best friends, Sarah, for a few years.
“My lips are sealed.”
“Okay as long as you—wait. What did you say before? You could see it? See what? Mackenzie liking girls? Me liking girls? Or Mackenzie and me together?” I swallow hard at the last thing. I never in a million years would’ve considered it. I mean, Mackenzie is beautiful. Stunning, really. But I thought she was straight. And I don’t know what the hell I am. All I know is what I felt in that kiss. Many, many terrifying things. Big things. Things I am not ready to face. But there might not be any way around that, because I’m sure Mackenzie felt them too. 🩷
