Happy July everyone

Y'all it's been a wild few weeks here. This newsletter was meant to hit your inboxes last week, but life (and Mother Nature) had other plans. We had a massive hail and windstorm here that knocked out power and internet for days. I've been a bit behind on everything since then. It was unlike anything I've ever seen, and I've lived here my whole life. Still, it was nothing compared to the devastating disasters elsewhere in this country, and my thoughts and prayers are with every family affected.

A writing update...

The power/internet outage set me back a bit, but I'm back in hustle and grind mode.

What's happening & what I'm working on:

• The Last Thing final edits & proofing is happening right now
• The Lacy Creek series re-release is underway! More on that later in this email...
• The Last Person (Brian and Hardy's story) is officially my WIP. I'm a couple of chapters in & obsessed with these two!!

And finally... fall in love with the O'Briens (again)

The Lacy Creek series re-release is rolling out now, and I'm loving how these stories have grown. The bones are the same, but the stories and characters are much deeper and stronger. The first two books are available now with updated, expanded, and re-edited content, plus pretty new covers! Book 3 and the series set will be out ASAP. (That was the biggest thing I was set behind on.)

I'm in full summer mode here and trying to get back on schedule, especially because there's a very special (and highly requested) story coming after Brian & Hardy's. Stay tuned for more on that. So much fun is coming soon!
