“All of me is yours,” I whisper, desperate to feel it all, to finally have everything with him after all these years.

His warm hand moves up my side, his burning gaze tethered to mine as he thrusts inside me.

His face morphs into a blissful, tortured expression.

I understand it. It matches the way my soul cries out. I’ve wanted this for so long. Begged for it. Thought I’d never get it. Now I have it, and it’s deeper, more powerful, than I thought it could be.

And the way he’s looking at me, like he’s been in physical pain holding back from me all this time, undoes me.

“Braden,” I whisper, and his eyes clear as he takes me in. “I’m going to fall for you again, too.”
